Phones/Internet Down
at Lake Anne ES

Due to a suspected power surge or lightning strike last night, the phones and internet are not working at Lake Anne this morning.
FCPS is working to fix the issue as we speak.
There are low lights in the building and the temperature is comfortable in the classrooms. Teachers have their cell phones for emergencies. Water (and toilets) are working.
IF the issue can't be resolved quickly, a decision may be made to dismiss students early. At the moment, classes (and activities) will be held as scheduled.
IF students are going to be dismissed, you would receive another email like this one - and it would be announced via the FCPS website and through the media.
If you need to contact someone at the school, for the time being you will need to physically come to the school.
(This has been an interesting year, no?)
