Proceeds from this fundraiser will purchase new books for Lake Anne and other important PTA initiatives

First PTA meeting of the year will be held in the Lake Anne Cafeteria. Child care will be provided.

A special invitation is extended to all families new to Lake Anne Elementary – this is a great opportunity to meet people and to learn about your new school. At this meeting, the 2006-2007 budget will be discussed and voted upon, and October and November activities planned (especially Bilingual Bingo and Movie Night). The PTA also hears updates from Principal Hajj and Dr. Menuey. We will also review the Virginia PTA 2007 Proposed Legislation Program to be voted on at the October meeting.Board Meeting 6:15 - 7 p.m. (all are welcome) General Meeting 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.

GRACE Art Volunteer Orientation 2:00 p.m. Cafeteria

GRACE Art is an arts enrichment program, sponsored by the LAES PTA and the Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE). Lake Anne students LOVE GRACE Art – and you can be part of it, even if you aren’t “artistic”. Come to the volunteer orientation and see if this is the way for you to be involved in your child’s class! Everyone is welcome!

Odyssey of the Mind – Information Night

Come to the Odyssey of the Mind Information Night on Thursday September 21st at 6pm in the Lake Anne Library.

Come learn about this special enrichment program for all grades. If you can not make the meeting but are interested please send an email to Jessie@carefreeboats.com.
