Many favorite foods have little “Box Tops for Education” logos or “Labels for Education” labels – not just Cheerios and soup! Clip your box tops and save the labels – and send them to school in a ziplock bag in the Tuesday folder. We have trimmers and counters standing by to turn your labels and box tops into $$ and supplies for Lake Anne. Visit www.boxtops4education.com and www.labelsforeducation.com for a complete list of all eligible items. Register at Box Tops and shop online through their Marketplace. You can also request to receive recipes, coupons, reminders and more – or no email from the site at all. For more info, please contact Chris Keefer (thekeefers@sprintmail.com) at 703.444.2888. Fiesta Time! – March 24, 2007Lake Anne’s Fiesta is an annual event – a fun fair, silent auction, cake walk, party extravaganza! And this year’s Fiesta will be bigger and better to celebrate Lake Anne’s 40th anniversary. Silent Auction donations from outside businesses are starting to come. Please think about how your family, your business, you would like to participate in the Silent Auction this year. Do you have season tickets to a sports team? Would you consider donating one game’s tickets to the auction? What about a talent or hobby you could share – through lessons (guitar, kayaking, scrapbooking) or perhaps an item you created (quilt, stained glass, mosaic). Would you host a party for adults or kids? Would you share your boat for a day trip? Would you bake a pie a month for some lucky family? Get imaginative and bold – the Silent Auction team would love to hear from you! Please contact Giannina Velez at 703.834.0710 (president@laespta.org) for more information about the Silent Auction and the Lake Anne Fiesta – and she’ll help you figure out how you can help!
